Start: Ha Giang City → Bac Sum Pass Heaven Gate → “Single Tree” Viewpoint → Lung Khuy Cave → Yen Minh (95KM)
Pickup & Arrival
Guests have the flexibility to be picked up from multiple locations including Hanoi Old Quarter, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba, or Ha Long Bay via sleeper bus or limousine bus. You’ll arrive in Ha Giang City the night before the loop begins.

10:00 AM – Tour Briefing
After breakfast, you’ll gather at our headquarters for a short trip briefing and practicing riding ( if you go for the self-rding option ). Our local team will share fascinating facts about Ha Giang, details of the route, safety instructions, and introduce your friendly local riders or Jeep drivers.
10:30 AM – Kickstart the Journey!
Strap on your helmet ( and protective gear ) hop into your jeep—your Ha Giang Loop adventure begins now! You’ll leave the city behind and head deep into the majestic northern mountains.
Highlights of Day 1
Bac Sum Pass & Heaven Gate

Your first stop is the winding Bac Sum Pass, often called the “Heaven Gate” for a reason. These thrilling switchbacks offer epic views and are the perfect way to feel the freedom of the open road.
“Single Tree” Viewpoint
Next, you'll visit the famous “Single Tree” viewpoint, a peaceful stop for photos with a panoramic view of the valley below—especially magical under the afternoon light.
Lung Khuy Cave

Step into the earth at the incredible Lung Khuy Cave, known for its surreal limestone formations. A short hike will take you to one of the most awe-inspiring cave systems in northern Vietnam.
Lunch Break
We’ll pause along the way for a delicious local Vietnamese lunch. Fuel up and soak in the scenery before continuing on your ride.
Evening in Yen Minh – Local Life & Warm Hospitality

5:00 PM – Arrive in Yen Minh Town
As the sun dips behind the mountains, we’ll arrive in Yen Minh, a charming town surrounded by rolling hills.
Tonight, you’ll stay at a cozy H’mong homestay, giving you a truly authentic experience. Learn about daily life in the village, join in the evening cooking, and even try your hand at making traditional Vietnamese spring rolls.
Dinner
Forget fine dining—tonight, your meal is a labor of love prepared by locals. You’ll enjoy fresh garden vegetables, free-range chicken, and other homemade delights with the famous "Happy Water" in a warm and friendly setting.
Overnight in Tay Village (Yen Minh)
Wind down from the day’s adventures in a peaceful traditional stilt house, where soft blankets and mountain breezes promise a restful sleep.
Day 2: Yen Minh → Lung Cu → Dong Van → Meo Vac! ( 120KM )
After a traditional Vietnamese breakfast, the journey resumes from Yen Minh. Get ready for a day filled with iconic landmarks and breathtaking landscapes.

Tham Ma Pass Stop

A winding mountain road known for its dramatic switchbacks and scenic views. This stop gives you the perfect photo opportunity to witness the incredible engineering of the "Happiness Road" carved into the mountainside.
Pao’s House in Lung Cam Village

This traditional H’mong house—famous as the filming location of Pao’s Story—reflects the unique architecture and way of life of the region’s ethnic people.
Lung Cu Flag Tower

The symbolic northernmost point of Vietnam. Climbing the steps to the 30-meter tall flag tower flying Vietnam’s red flag proudly over the borderlands and enjoying panoramic views of terraced fields, remote villages, and China in the distance.
Explore Lo Lo Chai Village

Home to the Lo Lo ethnic group, where you'd admire the clay-walled houses, traditional architecture, and peaceful rural lifestyle and capture the green landscape contrasting with stone fences and flowering trees.
Dong Van Town

Arrive in Dong Van, Vietnam’s northernmost township, for a well-deserved lunch break.
Ma Pi Leng Pass & Sky Walk Adventure

After lunch, the journey continues on the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass—arguably the crown jewel of the Ha Giang Loop. Spectacular limestone cliffs, deep valleys, and views of the Nho Que River. Stop at Sky Walk (Death Rock): a thrilling cliff-side path for those who dare to explore.
End the scenic ride with a relaxing descent into Meo Vac

Evening: Mong Village Cultural Experience
In the evening, head to a local Mong ethnic village for a cozy and authentic experience:

Day 3: Meo Vac → Mau Due → Yen Minh → Ha Giang city ( 140KM )
