HALONG BAY 1 DAY TOUR

ITINERARY:

08:00–08:45 – Hostel/Hotel Pick-Up
Our English-speaking tour guide will swing by to pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. We do our best to stay on schedule, but traffic in the mornings can get a bit hectic—so thanks in advance for being ready to roll when we arrive!

10:30–10:45 – Quick Break Stop
Time to stretch your legs! We'll make a short stop halfway for you to use the restroom, grab a coffee, or munch on a quick snack (especially helpful if you skipped breakfast). Our driver will definitely appreciate the coffee break too.

11:45–12:00 – Boarding the Cruise
We’ll arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and head straight to our private pier. Our friendly crew will be waiting to welcome you aboard with big smiles and good vibes.

12:00–13:30 – Buffet Lunch Onboard
As we cruise into the heart of Halong Bay, enjoy a generous buffet lunch with a mix of seafood and Vietnamese favorites. Along the way, you’ll pass by iconic limestone formations like Dog Rock, Duck Rock, and the famous Thumb Rock – shaped just like a giant thumb rising from the sea. It’s said to bring good luck!

13:30–14:30 – Explore Surprise Cave
We’ll stop at Bo Hon Island to explore Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave – the biggest and most breathtaking cave in the bay. After about 200 steps under a lush canopy, you’ll step into a magical world of stalactites and natural wonders. Not up for the walk? No worries – feel free to relax on the boat and soak in the views or chill in the jacuzzi.

14:30–15:30 – Kayaking or Rowboat Ride at Luon Cave
Next stop: Luon Cave! Paddle through this peaceful spot in your own kayak, or take it easy and hop on a rowboat guided by local rowers. Either way, it's a great chance to connect with the beauty of Halong Bay up close.

15:30–16:30 – Titop Island
Get ready for amazing views! On Titop Island, you can hike partway up the hill for a stunning 360° view of the bay, or just relax on the beach and enjoy the scenery. It’s a highlight for sure.

17:00 – Sunset Party
As we cruise back to the marina, wind down with a mini sunset party. Sip on complimentary wine or tea, snack on fresh fruit and little cakes, and soak up the dreamy colors of the sunset over the bay.

18:00 – Return Trip
Back on land, we hop on the bus and head straight back to Hanoi with one quick stop along the way.

20:30–21:00 – Hostel/Hotel Drop-Off
We’ll drop you off right at your hotel (or the closest spot if it's the weekend and the walking street is active). Thanks for choosing our tour – we hope this day becomes one of your best memories in Vietnam!
